Q. What is the process?
A. Data recovery is a two stage process. First your media must be evaluated by our engineers; at which time you will be presented with the diagnostics report and firm quote for your recovery. Second stage is the recovery of your data, per your approval of the quote.

Q. How long does the recovery process take?
A. For standard service, evaluation is performed within 48 hours. Turnaround time is three to seven business days. We offer expedited services, please ask your representative for details.

Q. Is my data secure? What about confidentiality?
A. Our client data is stored on an encrypted file server that is located in a secure environment. Data Recovery Experts has an unwritten non-disclosure agreements with all of our customers, but if you require a written agreement please ask your sales representative for more details.

Q. How should I package my media??
A. Place your media in anti-static bag and securely cover it with bubble wrap and/or packaging peanuts. Ship your media via a traceable carrier such us UPS, FedEx, DHL or USPS.

Q. How will my data be returned to me?
A. Data will be returned on DVD disks, up to 20GB. If the total amount of data exceeds 20GB you will be required to either provide or purchase a hard drive to transfer your data onto.
